Unipetrol RPA has new spokesman

Jan Martínek became the new press spokesman of Unipetrol RPA, Unipetrol Services and Unipetrol Doprava.

Litvínov, 2. 7. 2009 - On 1 st July Jan Martínek took over the position of the Internal and External Communication Manager in Unipetrol Services Litvínov, becoming the press spokesman for Unipetrol RPA, Unipetrol Services and Unipetrol Doprava. As part of the integration of communication throughout the Unipetrol Group, Martínek’s department is responsible for cooperation with the regional mass media, for regional sponsoring activities and for communication with the employees of those companies. These responsibilities have been taken over by the Internal and External Communication Department from the Services and Regional Affairs Department managed by Pavel Veselý.
 
Jan Martínek returns to the Unipetrol Group from Spolana Neratovice, where he worked since 2002 as the press spokesman and Public Relations Manager.

UNIPETROL RPA, s.r.o., is a leading Czech producer in the field of refinery, petrochemical and agrochemical raw materials, which is also reflected in the initial abbreviation “RPA”: refinery, petrochemistry, agrochemistry. UNIPETROL DOPRAVA, s.r.o., Unipetrol Doprava engages in the transport and forwarding, in particular of chemical products, via railway, primarily for members of Unipetrol Group. The company ensures railway forwaring of consignments in freight cars with the help of public forwaders, and also in its own trains with the help of private hauliers on the nation-wide railway network, and ensures links to other public and private hauliers abroad.

UNIPETROL SERVICES, s.r.o., was established on 1st January 2007. The mission of the SharedServicesCenter is to provide support to other companies of the Unipetrol Group in selected administrative support activities, such as financial accounting and taxes, financial management, human resources management, information technology, procurement, environmental protection, safety and quality (HSE&Q) and public relations, with the aim to increase effectiveness.
